This fall, psych rock fans are in for a serious treat. The Dandy Warhols are heading out on a Western U.S. tour and they’re bringing along none other than British psych legends Kula Shaker as their special guests. That’s right: two titans of psychedelic rock, one unforgettable run.
The Dandy Warhols kick things off September 22 in Salt Lake City and September 23 in Denver, before linking up with Kula Shaker in Texas for a run of co-headlining shows that build all the way to the West Coast.
“We’re extra excited about this upcoming tour with Kula Shaker because we love that band and we’re going to have a really good time hanging out with them,” says Courtney Taylor-Taylor of Portland’s own The Dandy Warhols.
Crispian Mills of London’s Kula Shaker adds, “We’ve always dug the Dandy Warhols’ tunes and their stonesy vibe, not to mention their work with the Velvets and their defining contribution to Pop Art. It’s going to be a blast travelling around with them! We can’t wait!”
Known for their electrifying live shows and immersive energy, The Dandy Warhols remain a must-see band after decades on the scene. Their Rock Remaker EP, released May 16, 2025, features wild remixes of their critically acclaimed 2024 album ROCKMAKER by Ride, Trentemøller, A Place To Bury Strangers, and Night Club. “I absolutely love remixes, someone else’s interpretation, or complete destruction of a song,” shares guitarist/keyboardist Peter G. Holmström.
The band also sees this tour as the perfect capstone to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their debut Dandys Rule OK (1995). And after this run? They’re hitting pause. “After these dates, we’re not going to tour for a few years, which we have never done,” says Taylor-Taylor. “So it is a bit of a last hurrah.”
Meanwhile, Kula Shaker recently dropped their new single “Charge of the Light Brigade,” fresh off a packed UK tour with Ocean Colour Scene. They’ve got more festival appearances and U.S. dates lined up—and plenty more music to come.

This fall, the psych rock gods are aligned. Don’t miss it… Get your tickets and prepare for a blast as these two psych-rock powerhouses unite on stage!
